TODAY...

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * NUMEROUS SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS THE REGION
   THIS MORNING. THESE SNOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE IN
   INTENSITY AGAIN BY DAWN AS SNOW SQUALL ACTIVITY REALIGNS
   SLIGHTLY SOUTHWARD TO NEAR THE M 59 CORRIDOR.

 * TOTAL ACCUMULATION FROM 1 TO 3 INCHES...WITH LOCALIZED AMOUNTS
   UP TO 4 INCHES THROUGH THIS MORNING. THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL
   FALL BETWEEN 6 AM AND 10 AM.

 * IN ADDITION...WIND CHILL READINGS WILL ALSO HOVER BETWEEN ZERO
   AND 5 BELOW ZERO EARLY THIS MORNING WITH WESTERLY WIND GUSTS
   NEAR 30 MPH.

IMPACTS...

 * VISIBILITY FREQUENTLY REDUCED TO 1/4 MILE OR LESS IN LOCALLY
   HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW.

 * UNTREATED ROADS BECOMING SNOW COVERED AND HAZARDOUS...
   ESPECIALLY BETWEEN THE INTERSTATE 69 AND 94
   CORRIDORS...CENTERING ALONG INTERSTATE 96 AND M 59 AFTER
   SUNRISE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

 * A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW AND
   BLOWING SNOW WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
   SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION
   WHILE DRIVING.
