HYDROLOGIC OUTLOOK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GREEN BAY WI
643 AM CDT TUE MAY 26 2015

...ANOTHER SOAKING RAIN EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON AND THIS
EVENING...

A STORM SYSTEM WILL INTENSIFY OVER THE MID-MISSISSIPPI VALLEY
TODAY...THEN TRACK ACROSS WISCONSIN TONIGHT. THE STORM IS EXPECTED
TO GENERATE PERIODS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AS IT CROSSES THE
REGION. ABUNDANT MOISTURE SURGING INTO THE AREA IN ADVANCE OF THE
SYSTEM COULD RESULT IN HEAVY RAINFALL WITH THE SHOWERS AND STORMS.
A WIDESPREAD 1 TO 2 INCH RAINFALL IS EXPECTED ACROSS CENTRAL AND
NORTH-CENTRAL WISCONSIN. MOST LOCATIONS IN EASTERN WISCONSIN
SHOULD RECEIVE ONE-HALF INCH TO ONE INCH OF RAIN...THOUGH SOME
LOCATIONS IN THE EAST WILL RECEIVE HIGHER TOTALS.

THE RAIN COULD FALL HARD ENOUGH AT TIMES TO RESULT IN SOME
PONDING OF WATER IN LOW-LYING AREAS AND IN LOW SPOTS ON ROADWAYS.
THE FLOW OF WATER THROUGH RIVERS AND STREAMS WILL ALSO INCREASE
AS ADDITIONAL RAINS FALL IN AREAS THAT RECEIVED SIGNIFICANT
RAINFALL DURING THE WEEKEND. BE SURE TO MONITOR LATER FORECASTS
AND STATEMENTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
