HYDROLOGIC OUTLOOK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GREEN BAY WI
251 PM CDT SUN JUN 22 2014

...ANOTHER SOAKING RAIN EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT AND MONDAY...

WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO
DEVELOP TONIGHT AND CONTINUE MONDAY. A WIDESPREAD RAINFALL OF 1 TO
2 INCHES IS EXPECTED ACROSS CENTRAL AND EAST-CENTRAL WISCONSIN.
SINCE THIS AREA RECEIVED CONSIDERABLE RAIN DURING THE PAST
WEEK...THE GROUND ACROSS MUCH OF THIS AREA WAS NEARLY SATURATED.
AS LONG AS THE RAINFALL IS CLOSE TO WHAT IS CURRENTLY
FORECAST...THE RESULT IS LIKELY TO BE MAINLY SOME PONDING OF
WATER IN LOW-LYING AND AN INCREASED FLOW IN STREAMS AND RIVERS.
HOWEVER...MUCH MORE SERIOUS FLOODING COULD DEVELOP IF RAINFALLS
EXCEED THE CURRENT FORECAST.

ANYONE LIVING IN FLOOD PRONE AREAS SHOULD CLOSELY MONITOR WEATHER
FORECASTS DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
IF A FLOOD WARNING IS ISSUED OR FLOODING IS OBSERVED.
