Open waters of Lake Michigan from Rock Island Passage to Sturgeon
Bay...

At 1111 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated rapidly developing
thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 25 knots. The
closest of these thunderstorm was located 9 nm northwest of Chambers
Island, moving east at 25 knots.

The strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Detroit Island around 1200 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by the strong thunderstorm include Sister
Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
