...CLUSTERS OF THUNDERSTORMS MOVING OVER THE BAY OF GREEN BAY...

THE AREAS AFFECTED INCLUDE...

CENTRAL BAY OF GREEN BAY...
NEARSHORE WATERS FROM WASHINGTON ISLAND TO STURGEON BAY...

AT 243 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A CLUSTER OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS...
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS TO 35 KNOTS AND SMALL HAIL. THE THUNDERSTORMS
EXTENDED FROM NEAR AMBERG IN MARINETTE COUNTY EAST TO CEDAR RIVER...MICHIGAN
AND THEN EAST TO GILLS ROCK. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST AT
25 KNOTS.

THE STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL REMAIN OVER THE CENTRAL BAY OF GREEN BAY FROM
NEAR CEDAR RIVER MICHIGAN TO GILLS ROCK...AND OVER THE COASTAL WATERS OF
LAKE MICHIGAN EAST OF GILLS ROCK THROUGH 315 AM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES.

THIS A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL LIKELY PRODUCE WINDS TO 35 KNOTS...
AND COULD POSE A SERIOUS HAZARD FOR BOATERS. A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING
MAY EVENTUALLY BE REQUIRED IF THE STORMS INCREASE IN INTENSITY. BOATERS
SHOULD CONSIDER HEADING FOR SHORE.
