...Above bankfull but below flood stage levels were observed along
the Menominee River...Peshtigo River...Pike River...Pine River...
Popple River...

For the Menominee River below Twin Falls Dam
* The latest stage was 17.2 feet.
* At 16.5 feet, Flows downstream of the Kingsford Dam to Niagara
  become fast.  Property owners may need to take action to protect
  shoreline equipment.

For the Menominee River near Niagara
* The latest stage was 11.3 feet.
* At 11.5 feet, Near 8200 cfs...piers gorge downstream consided high
  for local rafting companies downstream .

For the Menominee River near Vulcan
* The latest stage was 12.5 feet.
* At 12.0 feet, There is some minor flooding of adjacent farmland and
  wooded lowland.

For the Menominee River near White Rapids
* The latest stage was 11.7 feet.
* At 11.0 feet, There is minor lowland flooding.  Flood stage is at
  14 feet.

For the Pike River near Amberg
* The latest stage was 6.3 feet.
* At 6.5 feet, Which is flood stage...flooding affects are mainly
  confined to areas west of Amberg along Highway V.  Between 6.5 feet
  and 8.0 feet...water covers an adjacent park near the the highway V
  bridge.

For the Pine River near Florence
* The latest stage was 6.7 feet.
* At 7.0 feet, A recreational area and parking lot near the gage
  begins to flood.

For the Popple River near Fence
* The latest stage was 4.6 feet.
* At 4.0 feet, Which is bankfull stage...there is minor flooding
  wooded lowland.  Flood stage is at 6 feet.

For the Menominee River near Kingsford
* The latest stage was 8033 feet.
* At 8000 cfs, Flows at this rate downstream from the Kingsford dam
  may impact some shoreline structures.

For the Menominee River near Big Quinnesec Falls Dam
* The latest stage was 8835 feet.
* At 10000 cfs, Flow is fast.  Property owners should protect
  shoreline equipment.

For the Peshtigo River near Athelstane
* The latest stage was 6.8 feet.
* At 6.5 feet, At bankfull stage...there is minor lowland flooding.
  Flood stage is at 9 feet.

For the Peshtigo River below Caldron Falls Dam
* The latest stage was 903.9 feet.
* At 903.0 feet, There is minor lowland flooding.  Flood stage is at
  905 feet.

For the Peshtigo River near Porterfield
* The latest stage was 11.2 feet.
* At 12.0 feet, Area boat docks begin flooding and there is
  widespread flooding of wooded lowland.


Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. The next scheduled
routine statement will be issued tomorrow morning.
