HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GREEN BAY WI

...The following rivers were reported to be rising ...or will be
rising in the next 24 hours...the Memoninee River...Menominee
River...Peshtigo River...Pike River...Prairie River...Wisconsin
River...Wolf River...

For the Wolf River near Shiocton
* The latest stage was 11.1 feet.
* At 12.0 feet, Flooding is confined to lowland and agricultural
  land.  The entire boat landing in Shiocton is under several feet of
  floodwaters.  Water is surrounding lowland areas around homes on
  Mill Street and Island Street .


For the Wolf River at New London
* The latest stage was 7.6 feet.
* At 8.0 feet, flooding affects confined to lowland regions adjacent
  to the river.  Slow no wake advisories may be posted for part of
  the river during the boating season.


For the Wisconsin River below Rainbow Reservoir
* The latest stage was 4.4 feet.
* At 4.0 feet, There is minor flooding of wooded lowland.  Flood
  stage is at 6 feet.


For the Wisconsin River below Alexander Reservoir
* The latest stage was 1258 feet.
* At 1257 feet, Flooding affects wooded lowland.


For the Wisconsin River below Wausau
* The latest stage was 1166 feet.
* At 1165 feet, Mainly lowland flooding is occurring in DC Everest
  Park and Oak Island Park.


For the Wisconsin River at Rothschild
* The latest stage was 20.8 feet.
* At 20.5 feet, There is widespread lowland flooding.


For the Wisconsin River below Dubay Reservoir
* The latest stage was 1096 feet.
* At 1095 feet, flooding in wooded lowland.


For the Wisconsin River below Stevens Point
* The latest stage was 1075 feet.
* At 1076 feet, There is widespread flooding of wooded lowland.


For the Wisconsin River below Whiting Dam
* The latest stage was 1053 feet.
* At 1053 feet, Widespread flooding in wooded land adjacent to the
  river.  Floodwaters approach homes in low lying areas on Park Drive
  west of Plover.


For the Wisconsin River below Biron Reservoir
* The latest stage was 1016 feet.
* At 1015 feet, Wooded lowland flooding is occurring.  There is minor
  shoreline flooding of some homes on Shoreline Acres Drive in Biron.



For the Prairie River near Merrill
* The latest stage was 4.7 feet.
* At 4.5 feet, There is minor flooding of wooded lowland.


For the Pike River near Amberg
* The latest stage was 5.6 feet.
* At 6.5 feet, Which is flood stage...flooding affects are mainly
  confined to areas west of Amberg along Highway V.  Between 6.5 feet
  and 8.0 feet...water covers an adjacent park near the the highway V
  bridge.


For the Menominee River near Kingsford
* The latest stage was 7332 feet.
* At 8000 cfs, Flows at this rate downstream from the Kingsford dam
  may impact some shoreline structures.


For the Memoninee River near Big Quinnesec Falls Dam
* The latest stage was 7886 feet.


For the Menominee River below Twin Falls Dam
* The latest stage was 17.2 feet.
* At 16.5 feet, Flows downstream of the Kingsford Dam to Niagara
  become fast.  Property owners may need to take action to protect
  shoreline equipment.


For the Menominee River near Niagara
* The latest stage was 10.9 feet.
* At 11.5 feet, Near 8200 cfs...piers gorge downstream consided high
  for local rafting companies downstream .


For the Menominee River near Vulcan
* The latest stage was 12.0 feet.
* At 12.0 feet, There is some minor flooding of adjacent farmland and
  wooded lowland.


For the Menominee River near McAllister
* The latest stage was 14.6 feet.
* At 15.0 feet, Water covers the boat docks near the river gage and
  there is extensive flooding of wooded lowland.


For the Peshtigo River below Caldron Falls Dam
* The latest stage was 903.2 feet.
* At 903.0 feet, There is minor lowland flooding.  Flood stage is at
  905 feet.


For the Peshtigo River near Porterfield
* The latest stage was 10.6 feet.
* At 10.0 feet, There is minor flooding of wooded lowland.  Flood
  stage is at 12 feet.


Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. The next scheduled
routine statement will be issued tomorrow morning.
