HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT

...Above bankfull but below flood stage levels were observed along
the Fox River...Menominee River...Oconto River...Peshtigo River...
Popple River...Wisconsin River...Wolf River...

For the Wolf River at New London
* The latest stage was 8.7 feet.
* At 8.5 feet, Flooding affects mainly to wooded lowland.  Water is
  approaching some sheds and garages along Wolf River Drive in
  Fremont.  Slow no wake advisories may be posted for much of the
  Wolf river and area tributaries during the boating season.


For the Wisconsin River below Alexander Reservoir
* The latest stage was 1256 feet.
* At 1257 feet, Flooding affects wooded lowland.


For the Wisconsin River below Wausau
* The latest stage was 1165 feet.
* At 1165 feet, Mainly lowland flooding is occurring in DC Everest
  Park and Oak Island Park.


For the Popple River near Fence
* The latest stage was 4.0 feet.
* At 4.0 feet, Which is bankfull stage...there is minor flooding
  wooded lowland.  Flood stage is at 6 feet.


For the Menominee River near Kingsford
* The latest stage was 5005 feet.


For the Menominee River near Big Quinnesec Falls Dam
* The latest stage was 5397 feet.


For the Menominee River near Vulcan
* The latest stage was 9.6 feet.
* At 9.0 feet, There is lowland flooding along the river.


For the Menominee River near McAllister
* The latest stage was 13.3 feet.
* At 12.0 feet, Which is bankfull stage...there is minor flooding of
  wooded lowland.  Flood stage is at 15 feet.


For the Peshtigo River near Porterfield
* The latest stage was 10.3 feet.
* At 10.0 feet, There is minor flooding of wooded lowland.  Flood
  stage is at 12 feet.


For the Oconto River above Oconto
* The latest stage was 7.0 feet.
* At 7.0 feet, Water approaches a public campground in the city of
  Oconto and there is flooding of lowland.  Flood stage is at 9 feet.



For the Fox River at Appleton
* The latest stage was 7.0 feet.
* At 7.0 feet, The river current in this region begins to get fast
  from Appleton to The Thousand Island area downstream.


Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. The next scheduled
routine statement will be issued tomorrow morning.
