HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT

...Above bankfull but below flood stage levels were observed along
the Memoninee River...Oconto River...Peshtigo River...Pike River...
Pine River...Popple River...Upper Wolf River...Wisconsin River...

For the Menominee River below Twin Falls Dam
* The latest stage was 17.4 feet.
* At 16.5 feet, Flows downstream of the Kingsford Dam to Niagara
  become fast.  Property owners may need to take action to protect
  shoreline equipment.


For the Menominee River near Niagara
* The latest stage was 11.2 feet.
* At 11.5 feet, Near 8200 cfs...piers gorge downstream consided high
  for local rafting companies downstream.


For the Menominee River near Vulcan
* The latest stage was 11.8 feet.
* At 12.0 feet, There is some minor flooding of adjacent farmland and
  wooded lowland.


For the Menominee River near McAllister
* The latest stage was 13.4 feet.
* At 15.0 feet, Water covers the boat docks near the river gage and
  there is extensive flooding of wooded lowland.


For the Wolf River near Shiocton
* The latest stage was 11.7 feet.
* At 13.0 feet, Floodwaters begin to surround homes and cover streets
  near the river in the Shiocton area.  This mainly includes homes
  along Island and Mill streets.


For the Wolf River at New London
* The latest stage was 7.9 feet.
* At 8.5 feet, Flooding affects mainly to wooded lowland.  Water is
  approaching some sheds and garages along Wolf River Drive in
  Fremont.  Slow no wake advisories may be posted for much of the
  Wolf river and area tributaries during the boating season.


For the Wisconsin River below Rainbow Reservoir
* The latest stage was 3.9 feet.
* At 4.0 feet, There is minor flooding of wooded lowland.  Flood
  stage is at 6 feet.


For the Wisconsin River below Alexander Reservoir
* The latest stage was 1257 feet.
* At 1257 feet, Flooding affects wooded lowland.


For the Wisconsin River below Wausau
* The latest stage was 1166 feet.
* At 1165 feet, Mainly lowland flooding is occurring in DC Everest
  Park and Oak Island Park.


For the Wisconsin River at Rothschild
* The latest stage was 18.2 feet.
* At 18.0 feet, There is minor lowland flooding.  Flood stage is at
  25 feet.


For the Pike River near Amberg
* The latest stage was 4.4 feet.
* At 4.5 feet, which is bankfull stage, there is minor flooding of
  wooded lowland.  Flood stage is at 6.5 feet.


For the Pine River near Florence
* The latest stage was 6.5 feet.
* At 6.0 feet, which is bankfull stage, there is minor flooding of
  wooded lowland.  Flood stage is at 7 feet.


For the Popple River near Fence
* The latest stage was 4.3 feet.
* At 4.0 feet, which is bankfull stage, there is minor flooding
  wooded lowland.  Flood stage is at 6 feet.


For the Menominee River near Kingsford
* The latest stage was 9200 feet.


For the Memoninee River near Big Quinnesec Falls Dam
* The latest stage was 8583 feet.


For the Peshtigo River below Caldron Falls Dam
* The latest stage was 902.9 feet.
* At 903.0 feet, There is minor lowland flooding.  Flood stage is at
  905 feet.


For the Peshtigo River near Porterfield
* The latest stage was 9.9 feet.
* At 10.0 feet, There is minor flooding of wooded lowland.  Flood
  stage is at 12 feet.


For the Oconto River above Oconto
* The latest stage was 6.3 feet.
* At 8.5 feet, Flood waters mainly impact wooded lowland. Water
  approaches structures in a public campground in the city of Oconto.


For the Upper Wolf River at Langlade
* The latest stage was 9.3 feet.
* At 9.5 feet, There is minor flooding of lowland in the vicinity of
  the town of Langlade.  At high flows river banks can quickly
  become saturated and unstable.  Flood stage is 11.5 feet.


For the Upper Wolf River near Shawano
* The latest stage was 10.2 feet.
* At 10.0 feet, There is minor lowland flooding.  Flood stage is 11
  feet.


Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. The next scheduled
routine statement will be issued tomorrow morning.
