...MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WILL CONTINUE TRACKING THROUGH
NORTHEAST WISCONSIN THIS AFTERNOON...

AT 100 PM...AN AREA OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW...CURRENTLY
APPROACHING GREEN BAY AND WAUSAU...WILL CONTINUE
TRACKING THROUGH NORTHEAST WISCONSIN DURING THE AFTERNOON AND
EVENING HOURS. THUNDER IS ALSO POSSIBLE AT TIMES WITH THE BAND OF
HEAVY SNOW. EAST WINDS WILL ALSO PICK UP TO 15 TO 30 MPH WITH
GUSTS TO AROUND 40 MPH ACROSS EAST-CENTRAL WISCONSIN THIS
AFTERNOON INTO THE EARLY EVENING HOURS.

THIS AREA OF HEAVY SNOW WILL BE NEAR...
 STURGEON BAY AND RHINELANDER BY 200 PM.
 EAGLE RIVER...IRON MOUNTAIN AND WASHINGTON ISLAND BY 300 PM.

VISIBILITIES WILL DROP QUICKLY TO LESS THAN A QUARTER OF A MILE IN
THIS AREA OF HEAVY SNOW CAUSING TRAVEL CONDITIONS TO DETERIORATE
RAPIDLY WHERE THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS FALLING. THE AFTERNOON
AND EVENING COMMUTE WILL BE TREACHEROUS ACROSS THE REGION.
MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO PLAN AHEAD FOR THIS HEAVY SNOW.

A WINTER STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR THE AREA. PLEASE MONITOR
LOCAL MEDIA OUTLETS AND THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FOR FURTHER
STATEMENTS.
