...RAIN AND SNOW MIX TONIGHT INTO THURSDAY MORNING...

Rain is expected to spread northward over the south half of the
state this afternoon into this evening. As the rain moves into
parts of central and east central Wisconsin later this evening
and overnight where the air mass is cooler and drier, the rain
will mix with, then turn to mainly snow for a period of time. The
snow mix will likely continue into Thursday morning before turning
to mainly rain mid day Thursday. Between 1 to 2 inches of snow is
likely south of a line from Wisconsin Rapids to Green Bay to
Kewaunee. Locally higher amounts to 3 inches will be possible.

The snowfall may produce scattered slippery spots by Thursday
morning. Motorists should allow extra driving time for the
Thursday morning commute.
