CENTRAL WISCONSIN THIS MORNING...

.A powerful storm system racing northeast from southeast Wisconsin
will bring a wintry mix of precipitation to north-central
Wisconsin this morning.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CDT TODAY...

The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for mixed precipitation, which is in effect
until noon CDT today.

* TIMING...Mixed wintry precipitation early today will change to
  mainly snow by mid-morning. The precipitation will continue
  into the afternoon before diminishing.

* ICE/SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...A total snow accumulation of 1 to 4
  inches is expected, with the highest totals to the northwest of
  Antigo. Some minor icing is also possible due to freezing rain.

* MAIN IMPACT...Roads will become slippery due to snow and ice.
  The snow will continue into the afternoon, but pavement
  temperatures will warm during the daylight hours and
  additional snow accumulations this afternoon will be mainly on
  grassy areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that snow, sleet, and freezing
rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

  into the afternoon before diminishing.

* ICE/SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...A total snow accumulation of 2 to 5
  inches is expected, mainly north and west of a line from
  Tomahawk to Rhinelander to Crandon to Tipler. An inch or two
  of snow is expected in areas to the south. Some minor icing is
  also possible due to freezing rain.

  The snow will continue into the afternoon, but pavement
