...SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATION EXPECTED FOR THE LAKE SUPERIOR
SNOWBELT INTO FRIDAY MORNING...

.COLD AIR CROSSING THE RELATIVELY WARM WATERS OF LAKE SUPERIOR
WILL RESULT IN PERIODS OF SNOW SHOWERS ACROSS NORTH-CENTRAL
WISCONSIN THROUGH FRIDAY. THE SNOW SHOWERS WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES
IN THE SNOWBELT OF NORTHWEST VILAS COUNTY...WHERE SIGNIFICANT
SNOWFALL AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED. SNOW ACCUMULATION WITH LAKE EFFECT
SNOWS CAN VARY IN A RELATIVELY SHORT DISTANCE. THE SNOW SHOWERS
MAY WORK INTO ADJACENT COUNTIES AT TIMES. THE BLUSTERY NORTHWEST
WINDS WILL PRODUCE SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST FRIDAY...

* PERIODS OF SNOW SHOWERS...HEAVY AT TIMES...WILL PERSIST INTO
  FRIDAY MORNING. THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED TO OCCUR INTO
  EARLY FRIDAY MORNING BEFORE GRADUALLY DIMINISHING TO LIGHT
  SNOW BY NOON.

* AN ADDITIONAL 3 TO 6 INCHES OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE SNOW
  BELT REGION OF VILAS COUNTY...WITH 1 TO 2 INCHES OVER THE FAR
  SOUTHEAST PORTION OF THE COUNTY. THIS WILL BRING STORM TOTALS TO
  10 TO 18 INCHES IN THE SNOWBELT REGION OF NORTHWEST VILAS COUNTY
  TO 2 TO 4 INCHES OVER THE FAR SOUTHEAST PORTION OF THE COUNTY.

* BLUSTERY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL PRODUCE SOME BLOWING AND
  DRIFTING OF THE SNOW FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE EVENING BEFORE
  WINDS SUBSIDE OVERNIGHT.

* THE SNOW AND SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WILL LEAD TO DIFFICULT
  TRAVEL CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY IN THE SNOWBELT REGION OF NORTHWEST
  VILAS COUNTY.

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY LAKE-EFFECT SNOW MEANS SEVERE
WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED. IF YOU TRAVEL...BE SURE
TO HAVE A WORKING FLASHLIGHT...FOOD...AND WATER IN YOUR VEHICLE
IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY. THE LATEST WISCONSIN ROAD CONDITIONS CAN

* AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 3 INCHES IS POSSIBLE...WITH THE HIGHEST
  TOTALS ACROSS FAR NORTH-CENTRAL AND FAR NORTHWEST ONEIDA COUNTY.
  TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION WILL RANGE FROM 4 TO 7 INCHES ACROSS
  NORTHWEST AND FAR NORTH-CENTRAL ONEIDA COUNTY TO LESS THAN
  2 INCHES OVER THE SOUTHERN PORTION OF THE COUNTY.

* BLUSTERY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL PRODUCE SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING
  OF THE SNOW FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE EVENING BEFORE WINDS SUBSIDE
  OVERNIGHT.

* THE SNOW AND BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WILL LEAD TO HAZARDOUS
  TRAVEL CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY OVER THE NORTHERN PORTION OF THE
  COUNTY.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT VISIBILITIES WILL
BE LIMITED DUE TO A COMBINATION OF FALLING AND BLOWING SNOW. USE
