URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...WINTRY PRECIPITATION WILL CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY...

.A wintry mix will continue at times into Tuesday afternoon.
North-central Wisconsin will receive a mix of light freezing rain
and snow, with mainly freezing rain or freezing drizzle occurring
from central into northeast Wisconsin. The precipitation is
anticipated to change to rain Tuesday afternoon across east-
central Wisconsin where air and road temperatures are expected
to rise above freezing.

TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation. Additional snow accumulations of 1
  to 3 inches and ice accumulations of around one tenth of an
  inch are expected.

* WHERE...Vilas and Oneida Counties.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The snow and ice will result in difficult
  travel conditions, including during the morning commute on
  Tuesday. Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while

  up to two inches north of a Merrill to Wausaukee line. Ice
  accumulations of a tenth to quarter of an inch are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central and northeast
  Wisconsin.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The snow and ice will result in difficult
  travel conditions, including during the morning commute on Tuesday.
  Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.

TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Freezing rain or freezing
  drizzle will bring a tenth to a quarter of inch of icing
  through Tuesday morning.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central and northeast
  Wisconsin.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Air temperatures have fallen below
  freezing at Appleton and Green Bay, and should fall below
  freezing by 5 pm at Oshkosh and Manitowoc. Road temperatures
  are expected to fall below freezing around or shortly after
  sunset. Road conditions will deteriorate quickly this
  evening.
