...THE FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES FOR THE FOLLOWING RIVERS IN SOUTHWEST
LOWER MICHIGAN...

  PINE RIVER AT ALMA AFFECTING GRATIOT COUNTY

.GRATIOT COUNTY RECEIVED IN EXCESS OF 4.5 INCHES IN SOME AREAS
DURING SUNDAY NIGHT`S THUNDERSTORMS. ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND STORMS
ARE EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT THROUGH MIDDAY TUESDAY. AROUND A QUARTER
OF AN INCH OF RAIN IS EXPECTED...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS IN
THUNDERSTORMS. THE FOLLOWING FORECAST IS BASED ON OBSERVED AND
FORECAST 24 HOUR PRECIPITATION.

  THE PINE RIVER AT ALMA.
* UNTIL LATE TUESDAY NIGHT.
* AT  1:00 PM MONDAY THE STAGE WAS 8.2 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 8.0 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE RISING TO NEAR 8.3 FEET BY AFTER
  MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.  THE RIVER WILL FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE TOMORROW
  AFTERNOON.
* IMPACT...AT 8.4 FEET...RESIDENCES AT JUNCTION OF RIVER AND DOWNIE
  STREETS BEGIN TO FLOOD
* FLOOD HISTORY...THIS CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST OF 8.2 FEET
