...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Thornapple River at Hastings...

.Rainfall Thursday and already saturated soils have resulted in
steep rises on some area rivers. Rises will be complimented with
additional rainfall into early Saturday morning. Elevated river
levels are expected to continue into next week. Another round of
precipitation will approach Lower Michigan by the middle of next
week. Affected sites may remain near or above advisory level for
several days. The following forecast is based on observed and
forecast 24 hour precipitation.

For the Thornapple River Above Hastings... the latest stage was 4.4
feet at 10 PM Friday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecast is 5.1 feet early Monday morning. Flood stage is 7.0
feet. At 5.0 feet... River is bankfull. Expect minor flooding of low
lying areas and farmland adjacent to the river.

Safety message, Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
