...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Grand River at Jackson...Eaton
Rapids...Lowell...Ada...Grand Rapids...Robinson Township...Red Cedar
at Williamston...East Lansing...Flat River at Smyrna...Thornapple
River at Hastings...Caledonia...Rogue River at Rockford...Kalamazoo

Croton...Little Muskegon at Morley...Chippewa River at Mt Pleasant...

..NOTE: River forecasts are based on a 72 hour precipitation
forecast valid through Monday morning. Widespread rain moves into the
region later this weekend and river rises will occur. Currently
there is a general 2"-3" being used as a basis for these river
rises. A possibility exists for higher rainfall totals across a
narrow region which may impact these crests. Stay tuned to the latest
forecast updates as we approach this rainfall event.

For the Grand River At Jackson... the latest stage was 11.3 feet at
10 AM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 13.4 feet early Monday morning.  Flood stage is 14.0
feet.  At 13.0 feet... River is bankfull. River begins to flow into
low lying areas..

For the Grand River At Eaton Rapids... the latest stage was 3.7 feet
at 8 AM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 5.2 feet Tuesday early afternoon.  Flood stage is 6.0
feet.  At 5.0 feet... River is bankfull. Expect minor overflow into
low lying areas..

For the Grand River At Lowell... the latest stage was estimated at
8.5 feet at 11 AM Friday. No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 13.7 feet Thursday morning.  Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
At 15.0 feet... Expect minor flooding of commercial buildings..

For the Grand River At Ada... the latest stage was 11.8 feet at 10 AM
Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted is
18.1 feet Thursday early afternoon.  Flood stage is 20.0 feet.  At
17.0 feet... River is bankfull. Shady Drive floods..

For the Grand River At Grand Rapids... the latest stage was 8.3 feet
at 11 AM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 15.8 feet Thursday early afternoon.  Flood stage is
18.0 feet.

For the Grand River At Robinson Township... the latest stage was 11.2
feet at 7 AM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 13.2 feet early Thursday morning.  Flood stage is 13.3
feet.  At 13.3 feet... Minor flooding begins in low areas..

For the Red Cedar River Above Williamston... the latest stage was 5.4
feet at 11 AM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 7.3 feet Tuesday early afternoon.  Flood stage is 9.0
feet.  At 7.0 feet... River is bankfull. Overflow begins in low lying
areas adjacent to the river..

For the Red Cedar River At East Lansing... the latest stage was 4.3
feet at 11 AM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 6.6 feet Wednesday morning.  Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
At 7.0 feet... Expect minor flooding of low lying areas, adjacent
parks, and farmland..

For the Flat River Near Smyrna... the latest stage was 4.5 feet at 10
AM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted
is 6.7 feet Thursday early afternoon.  Flood stage is 8.5 feet.  At
7.0 feet... Expect minor flooding of about 30 Double R Ranch
Campground sites and in low lying areas adjacent to the river..

For the Thornapple River Above Hastings... the latest stage was 4.3
feet at 11 AM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 6.9 feet early Wednesday morning.  Flood stage is 7.0
feet.  At 7.0 feet... Expect minor flooding of Tyden Park in
Hastings, and homes upstream and downstream of Hastings..

For the Thornapple River Near Caledonia... the latest stage was 4.8
feet at 10 AM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 8.8 feet Wednesday early afternoon.  Flood stage is
10.0 feet.  At 8.0 feet... River is bankfull. Expect overflow into
low lying areas along the river..

For the Rogue River Below Rockford... the latest stage was 4.8 feet
at 11 AM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 7.8 feet Tuesday morning.  Flood stage is 8.0 feet.  At
8.0 feet... Expect minor flooding of homes upstream of Rockford..

For the Kalamazoo River At Comstock... the latest stage was 5.2 feet
at 11 AM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 7.7 feet Thursday morning.  Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
At 8.0 feet... Expect minor flooding in park in Comstock..

For the Kalamazoo River Near New Richmond... the latest stage was
13.2 feet at 11 AM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum
stage forecasted is 16.0 feet Wednesday morning.  Flood stage is 17.0
feet.  At 17.0 feet... Expect minor flooding of low lying areas and
farmland along the river.  Boardwalk along the river and boat launch
would be flooded..

For the Pere Marquette River Near Scottville... the latest stage was
2.4 feet at 11 AM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum
stage forecasted is 4.3 feet early Thursday morning.  Flood stage is
5.5 feet.  At 4.0 feet... River is bankfull. Overflow of low lying
areas adjacent to the river occurs..

For the White River Above Whitehall... the latest stage was 2.5 feet
at 11 AM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 5.4 feet Tuesday early afternoon.  Flood stage is 6.0
feet.  At 5.0 feet... River is bankfull. Overflow begins in low lying
areas..

For the Muskegon River At Evart... the latest stage was 9.1 feet at
11 AM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 11.4 feet Wednesday early afternoon.  Flood stage is
12.0 feet.  At 11.5 feet... Expect minor flooding of low lying areas
upstream of Evart. In the Jeffery subdivision, flooding begins to
surround and impact crawl spaces of over a dozen homes along Linden
Road, Riverside Road, and Muskegon Trail. Trout Road is under water
and high water surrounds homes in the Doc and Tom subdivision along
Trout Drive and Miller Road..

For the Muskegon River Near Croton... the latest stage was 6.8 feet
at 11 AM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 8.9 feet early Wednesday morning.  Flood stage is 9.0
feet.  At 9.0 feet... Expect minor flooding of cottages and homes
downstream of Newaygo on Riverview Drive in Bridgeton Township and
Pepperidge in Ashland Township..

For the Little Muskegon River Above Morley... no observed stage was
available.  No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted is
4.9 feet early Tuesday morning.  Flood stage is 6.0 feet.  At 4.0
feet... River is bankfull..

For the Chippewa River Below Mt Pleasant... the latest stage was 4.1
feet at 11 AM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 7.6 feet early Tuesday morning.  Flood stage is 8.0
feet.  At 8.0 feet... Expect minor flooding of the Golf Course,
Island Park and Nelson Park in western Mt. Pleasant..
