HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
831 PM EST MON FEB 6 2017

...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Thornapple River at Hastings...

.River levels will be elevated through this week given rainfall
tonight and Tuesday, combined with snow melt. The following
forecast is based on observed and forecast 48 hour precipitation.

For the Thornapple River Above Hastings... the latest stage was 3.8
feet at 8 PM Monday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecast is 5.2 feet Friday morning. Flood stage is 7.0 feet. At
5.0 feet... River is bankfull. Expect minor flooding of low lying
areas and farmland adjacent to the river.

Safety message... Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
