Hydrologic Statement

...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Sycamore Creek at Holt...

.Fluctuations continue on area rivers due to ice effects. A warm up
this week and up to a quarter inch of rain Thursday will result in
melting snow and ice, and rising river levels. This could also result
in shifting ice and additional ice jam formation. The following
forecast is based on observed and forecast 48 hour precipitation.

For the Sycamore Creek At Holt... the latest stage was estimated
at 3.3 feet at 7 AM Tuesday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum
stage forecasted is 6.5 feet Friday morning. Flood stage is 8.0
feet. At 6.0 feet... Flooding begins in low lying areas along the
creek and at the Lansing Municipal Golf Course and Scott Woods Park.

Safety message... Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
