...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks: Red Cedar at Williamston...
.Mainly dry weather is expected the remainder of the night and through
Friday. A system will brush the Southern Great Lakes region Friday night
into Saturday. Precipitation with this system could bring a quarter of
an inch of rain to portions of the headwaters of the Grand River. This
precipitation should not result in additional rises, but may slow the
rate of fall this weekend into early next week.
For the Red Cedar River Above Williamston... the latest stage was 6.7
feet at 10 PM Thursday. No flooding is forecast. The river has
fallen 0.30 feet in the past 24 hours. Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
