HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
1132 AM EDT MON MAR 28 2016

...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Muskegon River at Croton...

.The Muskegon River near Croton could exceed bankfull Tuesday
afternoon or evening... but confidence is not high enough to issue a
River Flood Advisory at this time. Between 0.25-0.50 inches of rain
fell overnight... which is helping keep rivers elevated and produce
minor rises. Dry weather is forecast through Wednesday morning.
Additional showers and some thunderstorms are possible Wednesday
night into Thursday. The following forecast is based on observed and
forecast 24 hour precipitation.

For the Muskegon River Near Croton... the latest stage was 7.3 feet
at 10 AM Monday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 8.2 feet early Wednesday morning.  Flood stage is 9.0
feet.  At 8.0 feet... River is bankfull. River begins to exceed its
banks and minor flooding begins in low lying areas along the river..


Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
