The following forecasts are for rivers in southwest lower michigan...
For the St Joseph River At Burlington... the latest stage was 6.0
feet at 11 AM Sunday. No flooding is forecast. The river has fallen
0.2 feet in the past 24 hours. Flood stage is 6.5 feet. At 6.0
feet, River is bankfull, minor overflow into low lying wooded
areas along the river begins.
For the Muskegon River Near Croton... the latest stage was 7.9 feet
at 11 AM Sunday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage forecast
is 8.0 feet this evening. Flood stage is 9.0 feet. At 8.0 feet, river
is bankfull. River begins to exceed its banks and minor flooding
begins in low lying areas along the river.
