HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
1248 PM EDT FRI MAR 31 2017

...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Grand River at Jackson...Robinson
Township...Red Cedar at Williamston...Kalamazoo River at Comstock...

.The crests from recent heavy rains have begun to move down river.
Between one and two inches of rain fell over most of the area. More
rain early next week may bring additional rises across the river
system through next week. The following forecast is based on
observed and forecast 48 hour precipitation.

For the Grand River At Jackson... the latest stage was 12.4 feet at
11 AM Friday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage forecast is
12.6 feet tomorrow morning. Flood stage is 14.0 feet. At 13.0 feet...
River is bankfull. River begins to flow into low lying areas.

For the Grand River At Robinson Township... the latest stage was 11.4
feet at 9 AM Friday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecast is 12.7 feet Monday evening. Flood stage is 13.3 feet.
At 13.0 feet... River is bankfull.

For the Red Cedar River Above Williamston... the latest stage was 6.7
feet at 12 PM Friday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecast is 7.2 feet tomorrow early afternoon. Flood stage is 9.0
feet. At 7.0 feet... River is bankfull. Overflow begins in low lying
areas adjacent to the river.

For the Kalamazoo River At Comstock... the latest stage was 6.4 feet
at 12 PM Friday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecast is 6.8 feet early Sunday morning. Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

Safety message... Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
