HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
1103 PM EDT FRI MAR 24 2017

...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Grand River at Lowell...Thornapple
River at Hastings...

.A frontal boundary will remain in the proximity of the Southern
Great Lakes through the weekend and provide periodic chances for
rain. Rainfall totals of a half inch to an inch could be common
by Monday.  The following forecast is based on observed
and forecast 48 hour precipitation.

For the Grand River At Lowell... no observed stage was available.  No
flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted is 10.1 feet
early Thursday morning.  Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

For the Thornapple River Above Hastings... the latest stage was 3.9
feet at 10 PM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 5.4 feet Tuesday morning.  Flood stage is 7.0 feet.  At
5.0 feet... River is bankfull. Expect minor flooding of low lying
areas and farmland adjacent to the river..

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
