...WATER LEVELS ARE HIGH OR FORECAST TO HAVE SIGNIFICANT RISES FOR
THE FOLLOWING RIVERS OR CREEKS:  MAPLE RIVER AT MAPLE RAPIDS...
.THE CURRENT WEATHER IS DOMINATED BY COLDER THAN NORMAL
TEMPERATURES AND LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS. THIS PATTERN WILL
PRODUCE SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF MAINLY ONE TO TWO
INCHES...ISOLATED HIGHER TOTALS...NEAR THE SHORE LINE AND AN INCH OR
LESS FOR INLAND LOCATIONS. ANOTHER MINOR QUICK HIT OF SNOWFALL WILL
AFFECT AREAS MAINLY NORTH OF GRAND RAPIDS FRIDAY. THE EXTENDED
FORECAST INCLUDES WARMER TEMPERATURES OVER THE WEEKEND WITH
SCATTERED LIGHT RAIN POSSIBLE. THE FOLLOWING FORECAST IS BASED ON
OBSERVED AND FORECAST 24 HOUR PRECIPITATION.

FOR THE MAPLE RIVER AT MAPLE RAPIDS... THE LATEST STAGE WAS 6.7 FEET
AT 10 AM THURSDAY.   NO FLOODING IS FORECAST.  THE MAXIMUM STAGE
FORECASTED IS 6.9 FEET AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.  FLOOD STAGE IS 9.0
FEET.
