HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
837 PM EST SAT FEB 4 2017

...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Maple River at Maple Rapids...

.River levels are gradually falling, however river ice may cause
the level on the Looking Glass river to fluctuate this weekend. Mild
temperatures Monday and Tuesday and rain on Tuesday may cause river
levels to rise once again. The following forecast is based on
observed and forecast 48 hour precipitation.

For the Maple River At Maple Rapids... the latest stage was 6.8 feet
at 8 PM Saturday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecast is 7.1 feet early Friday morning. Flood stage is 9.0
feet. At 7.0 feet... River is bankfull. Expect minor flooding in low
lying pastures, farmland, and wooded areas adjacent to the river..

Safety message... Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
