HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
957 PM EST MON FEB 27 2017

The following forecasts are for rivers in southwest lower michigan...

For the Looking Glass River Near Eagle... the latest stage was 4.5
feet at 9 PM Monday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 5.3 feet Thursday early afternoon.  Flood stage is 7.0
feet.  At 5.0 feet... River is bankfull..

For the Flat River Near Smyrna... the latest stage was 4.8 feet at 8
PM Monday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted
is 5.6 feet Saturday morning.  Flood stage is 8.5 feet.

For the Thornapple River Above Hastings... the latest stage was 4.1
feet at 9 PM Monday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 5.2 feet Friday early afternoon.  Flood stage is 7.0
feet.  At 5.0 feet... River is bankfull. Expect minor flooding of low
lying areas and farmland adjacent to the river..

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
