HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND RAPIDS MI
1049 AM EST WED FEB 3 2016

...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Looking Glass River at Eagle...Pere
Marquette River at Scottville...

.Light rain and snow showers are expected today with little
accumulation of rain or snow. The extended outlook is for lake
effect snow tonight into the weekend. The following forecast is based
on observed and forecast 48 hour precipitation.

For the Looking Glass River Near Eagle... the latest stage was 4.4
feet at 10 AM Wednesday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecast is 4.7 feet after midnight tonight. Flood stage is 7.0 feet.

For the Pere Marquette River Near Scottville... the latest stage was
2.9 feet at 10 AM Wednesday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum
stage forecast is 4.0 feet Friday evening. Flood stage is 5.5 feet.
At 4.0 feet... River is bankfull. Overflow of low lying areas
adjacent to the river occurs.

Safety message... Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
