...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks: Sycamore Creek at Holt...Muskegon
River at Evart...Little Muskegon at Oak Grove...
.The storm system that brought ample rainfall to the region
continues to move well of to the east and southeast. A drier weather
pattern will set up over the area today and tomorrow, allowing river
levels to stablize or continue falling. The following forecast is
based on observed and forecast 24 hour precipitation.
For the Sycamore Creek At Holt... the latest stage was 5.5 feet at 9
AM Wednesday. No flooding is forecast. The maximum stage
forecasted is 5.6 feet this afternoon. Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
For the Muskegon River At Evart... the latest stage was 8.0 feet at 9
AM Wednesday. No flooding is forecast. The river has fallen M feet
in the past 24 hours. Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
