THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND RAPIDS HAS ISSUED A
FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS
MORNING TO 2 AM EST TUESDAY.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * AREAS OF FREEZING RAIN WILL DEVELOP BY EARLY AFTERNOON AND
   PERSIST INTO THE EVENING. THE FREEZING RAIN IS FORECASTED TO
   CHANGE TO RAIN FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST LATE THIS AFTERNOON
   INTO TONIGHT. UP TO A QUARTER INCH OF ICE COULD ACCUMULATE ON
   COLDER SURFACES.

 * THE STORM IS IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRACKING TOWARD MICHIGAN
   THROUGH TONIGHT.

 * THE ROADS ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME ICY IN PLACES ESPECIALLY THIS
   AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

 * SCATTERED POWER OUTAGES ARE LIKELY TO OCCUR.

WEATHER ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
9 AM EST TUESDAY.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * A MIXTURE OF SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN ARE FORECASTED TO
   DEVELOP LATER TODAY...AND EVENTUALLY CHANGE OVER TO FREEZING
   RAIN TONIGHT. LESS THAN AN INCH OF SNOW AND SLEET IS FORECASTED
   BUT THE ICE COULD BUILD UP TO A QUARTER INCH ON COLDER
   SURFACES. AS THE TEMPERATURES CLIMB ABOVE FREEZING LATER TONIGHT
   AND TUESDAY MORNING THE PRECIPITATION WILL TRANSITION TO RAIN.
