HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET HAVE DEVELOPED BETWEEN I-94 AND I-96
   AND WILL CONTINUE MOVING NORTH THIS AFTERNOON.

 * THE FREEZING RAIN WILL CHANGE TO RAIN FROM SOUTHWEST TO
   NORTHEAST LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT. UP TO A QUARTER
   INCH OF ICE COULD ACCUMULATE ON COLDER SURFACES.


IMPACTS...

 * THE ROADS ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME ICY IN PLACES ESPECIALLY
   THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

 * SECONDARY AND ESPECIALLY DIRT ROADS WILL HOLD ONTO THE ICE
   LONGER THAN PRIMARY AND PAVED ROADS.

 * SCATTERED POWER OUTAGES ARE LIKELY TO OCCUR.

 * THE MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION REMINDS MOTORISTS
   TO ADJUST SPEEDS BASED ON THE CONDITIONS...AND TO TAKE IT

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * A MIXTURE OF SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN HAVE DEVELPED NEAR
   I-96 AND WILL CONTINUE MOVING NORTH TODAY. THE PRECIPITATION
   WILL CHANGE OVER TO FREEZING RAIN TONIGHT. LESS THAN AN INCH OF
   SNOW AND SLEET IS EXPECTED BUT THE ICE COULD BUILD UP TO A
   QUARTER INCH ON COLDER SURFACES. AS THE TEMPERATURES CLIMB
   ABOVE FREEZING LATER TONIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING THE
   PRECIPITATION WILL TRANSITION TO RAIN.
