...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EDT THIS
AFTERNOON...

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * Burst of moderate to locally heavy snow this morning.

 * Quick snow accumulations of an inch or two possible.

 * Brief freezing rain possible from late morning into the
   midday hours.

 * Limited visibility at times in the heavier snow bursts.

IMPACTS...

 * Slippery travel may develop during the bursts of snow, as
   well as in locations that receive freezing rain.

 * Longer travel times due to slippery conditions and limited
   visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

 * The Michigan Department of Transportation reminds motorists
   to allow plenty of time to reach their destination. Take it
   slow in ice and snow.
