...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 PM CDT SATURDAY FOR
NORTHERN PULASKI...STARKE AND SOUTHWESTERN LA PORTE COUNTIES...

At 501 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated additional light to moderate
rainfall moving into the warning area. Localized heavy rain will be
possible as well. Radar estimates that portions of southern LaPorte
county into northern Starke county 2 to locally more than 3 inches
of rain since Friday evening. An additional quarter to half inch of
rain may fall in some locations through 8 AM EDT / 7 AM CDT), with
isolated higher amounts possible. This may delay water from
receding in some locations.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Knox, North Judson, Hamlet, La Crosse, Koontz Lake, Oak Grove,
Ripley, Monterey, Thomaston, Lomax, Beardstown, Ober, English Lake,
Denham, Brems, Toto, Clarks, Winona, Bass Lake and San Pierre.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
