.Previous heavy rains have caused widespread flooding across the area.
Flooding should continue for at least the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...Never drive vehicles through flooded areas. the
water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to
play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio or
local media for further statements and updated forecasts.

* until further notice.
* At 10 AM Sunday the stage was 16.3 feet and rising.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 16.5 feet around  8
  AM Monday June 29 and begin falling.
* At 16.5 feet...Major flooding will occur in and around the village
  of Stryker.

* At 10 AM Sunday the stage was 11.6 feet and steady.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Sunday afternoon
  and crest near 13.2 feet around  2 PM Wednesday July  1. Additional
  rises are possible thereafter.
* At 13.0 feet...Flooding begins to affect streets and homes in
  Monterey.

* from Tuesday afternoon until further notice.
* At 11 AM Sunday the stage was 8.6 feet and steady.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Tuesday afternoon
  and crest near 10.4 feet around  8 AM Thursday July  2. Additional
  rises are possible thereafter.
* At 10.0 feet...The river is at flood stage. Some residences begin
  to be affected by flood water and the Winamac town park floods.

* Forecast...The river will fall below the 9.0 foot flood stage
  around  2 AM Tuesday June 30.
* At 13.0 feet...South Mill Street lumber company built wall to
  prevent flooding after December 1990 flood.

* At 10 AM Sunday the stage was 25.3 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 27.0 feet around  8
  AM Monday June 29 and fall below flood stage around 11 PM Tuesday
  June 30.
* At 27.0 feet...Flooding worsens on the south side of Ottawa, with
  water on several roads. Flooding also begins in other areas of
  Ottawa.

* until Thursday evening.
* At 11 AM Sunday the stage was 21.4 feet and rising.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 21.5 feet around  2
  AM Monday June 29 and fall below flood stage around 10 PM Wednesday
  July  1.
* At 22.0 feet...Flooding becomes serious. Twenty-four hour flood
  fighting commences if river continues to rise.

* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 16.4 feet around  8
  PM Sunday June 28 and fall below flood stage around  5 PM Tuesday
  June 30.
* At 16.5 feet...The Kingsbury Park area is closed due to flooding.
  Many roads are closed due to high water.

* until late Wednesday night.
* At 12 PM Saturday the stage was 6.8 feet and rising.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage very early Sunday
  morning and crest near 16.9 feet around  8 PM Sunday June 28 and
  fall below flood stage around 12 AM Wednesday July  1.
* At 17.0 feet...Massive flooding will occur. Residents living along
  the Maumee and its tributaries should prepare for extensive flood
  losses.

  The Saint Joseph River Ohio below Montpelier
* from this evening until further notice.
* At 7 AM Saturday the stage was 5.7 feet and unknown.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Sunday night and
  crest near 12.8 feet around  8 PM Tuesday June 30. Additional rises
  are possible thereafter.
* At 13.0 feet...County Road K, one mile southwest of Montpelier
  begins to flood. Some flooding begins to affect the village of
  Pioneer. Significant low land and agricultural flooding occurs near
  the river.

* until further notice.
* At 10 AM Sunday the stage was 13.8 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 14.3 feet around  2
  PM Monday June 29 and begin falling.
* At 14.0 feet...Significant flooding occurs on DeKalb County Road 42
  about 3 miles northeast of Newville. Considerable agricultural and
  low land flooding occurs along the St. Joseph River to the
  Cedarville Reservoir.

* Forecast...The river will fall below the 17.0 foot flood stage
  around  4 AM Thursday July  2.
* At 21.5 feet...High water affects US 224...Piqua Rd...Ohio State
  Route 49 near the state line along with east side Decatur streets.
  Residential flooding begins on East Jackson and Ogg Streets.
  Bellmont High School grounds begin flooding.

  PM Sunday June 28 and fall below flood stage around  2 PM Monday
  June 29.
* At 15.0 feet...Flooding occurs on the lowest unprotected city
  streets, park drives and county roads.

  park and the Quail Hollow neighborhood.

  around  3 AM Monday June 29.
* At 15.0 feet...Moderate flooding can be expected. Secondary roads
  are blocked and the transfer of property to higher ground is
  necessary.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 13.0 feet around  8
  AM Monday June 29 and fall below flood stage around  6 PM Tuesday
  June 30.
* At 14.0 feet...Secondary roads are blocked. Roads near the east
  side of Geneva begin to flood. Some evacuations may be required and
  property needs to be transfered to higher ground.

* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 13.7 feet around  8
  PM Monday June 29 and fall below flood stage around  4 PM Wednesday
  July  1.
* At 14.0 feet...Flooding begins to affect residential areas in
  northern Bluffton. Low areas near the wastewater treatment plant
  begin to flood. Portions of Elm Grove Road and County Road 450
  begin to flood.

  and Lagro begin to flood.

* until Tuesday morning.
* At 10 AM Sunday the stage was 15.1 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will fall below the 13.0 foot flood stage
  around  6 AM Monday June 29.
* At 16.0 feet...Moderate flooding begins along the Auglaize River
  with secondary roads and agricultural lands as well as homes
  nearest the river being affected by flood waters. Some evacuations
  of people and property may be necessary.

* until Tuesday morning.
* At 10 AM Sunday the stage was 20.7 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Sunday morning and
  crest near 21.7 feet around  8 PM Sunday June 28 and fall below
  flood stage around  8 AM Monday June 29.
* At 21.0 feet...Water gets into backyards of homes on Riverside
  Avenue. Riverside Park in Defiance begins to flood. Flood water
  approaches State Route 111 upstream of hydro dam.
