.Recent moderate to heavy rain has led to rises on area rivers.
Additional rainfall is expected Tuesday across the area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...Never drive vehicles through flooded areas. the
water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to
play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio or
local media for further statements and updated forecasts.

* until further notice.
* At 9 PM Monday the stage was 16.9 feet and rising.
* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 17.5 feet around  2
  PM Tuesday June 30 and begin falling.
* At 16.5 feet...Major flooding will occur in and around the village
  of Stryker.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 17.5 feet which occurred
  on Dec 1 2011.

  The Maumee River AT Ft. Wayne
* until Friday afternoon.
* At 9 PM Monday the stage was 20.7 feet and falling.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will fall below the 17.0 foot flood stage
  around  2 PM Thursday July  2.
* At 21.0 feet...An increasing number of city streets begin to flood.
  Evacuations are necessary in River Haven. Numerous Allen County
  roads are flooded at this level.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 20.6 feet which occurred
  on Apr 19 2013.

* At 7 PM Monday the stage was 18.2 feet and falling.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will fall below the 10.0 foot flood stage
  around  5 AM Thursday July  2.
* At 18.3 feet...Flood water closes Perry Street at First Street.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 18.0 feet which occurred
  on Feb 8 2008.

* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will fall below the 12.0 foot flood stage
  around  9 PM Wednesday July  1.
* At 17.0 feet...Massive flooding will occur. Residents living along
  the Maumee and its tributaries should prepare for extensive flood
  losses.

  The Saint Joseph River Ohio below Montpelier
* until Saturday afternoon.
* At 3 PM Monday the stage was 13.8 feet and rising.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 14.5 feet around  8
  AM Wednesday July  1 and fall below flood stage around  3 PM Friday
  July  3.
* At 15.0 feet...Several roadways are closed including County Road 10
  at County Road K.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.4 feet which occurred
  on Feb 7 2008.

* until further notice.
* At 9 PM Monday the stage was 14.4 feet and rising.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 14.4 feet around  8
  AM Tuesday June 30 and begin falling.
* At 14.0 feet...Significant flooding occurs on DeKalb County Road 42
  about 3 miles northeast of Newville. Considerable agricultural and
  low land flooding occurs along the St. Joseph River to the
  Cedarville Reservoir.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.6 feet which occurred
  on May 30 2011.

* At 12.0 feet...Lowland and farmland flooding near the river begins.

* At 9 PM Monday the stage was 20.3 feet and falling.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 20.5 feet around  2
  PM Tuesday June 30 and fall below flood stage around  4 PM Thursday
  July  2.
* At 20.5 feet...Indiana 101 north of Pleasant Mills is closed by
  flood water. Extensive agricultural flooding is in progress.
  Residents of the east and southeast side of Decatur become
  concerned.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 20.4 feet which occurred
  on Apr 12 2013.

* Forecast...The river will fall below the 14.0 foot flood stage
  around  2 PM Wednesday July  1.
* At 15.0 feet...Flooding occurs on the lowest unprotected city
  streets, park drives and county roads.

* At 15.0 feet...Moderate flooding can be expected. Secondary roads
  are blocked and the transfer of property to higher ground is
  necessary.

  PM Tuesday June 30 and fall below flood stage around  8 AM Thursday
  July  2.
* At 12.0 feet...The river is at flood stage...significant lowland
  and rural flooding begins.

  the River Green Way.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.0 feet which occurred
  on Dec 24 2013.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 18.0 feet around  8
  AM Tuesday June 30 and begin falling.
* At 19.0 feet...Residential and some commercial flooding begins on
  the right bank in southwest sections of Wabash. Extensive rural
  flooding south of Rich Valley begins in western Wabash County.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 17.7 feet which occurred
  on May 15 2011.

  on South Mill Street.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.1 feet which occurred
  on Apr 12 2013.

  around  2 AM Wednesday July  1.
* At 25.0 feet...Flooding begins along south Walnut and west Second
  Streets on the south side of Ottawa.
