.Heavy persistent rainfall has led to rises on area rivers and flooding
is expected to continue.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...Never drive vehicles through flooded areas. the
water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to
play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio or
local media for further statements and updated forecasts.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Eel River at North Manchester
* until Tuesday morning.
* At 4 AM Sunday the stage was 12.6 feet and steady.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will fall below the 9.0 foot flood stage
  around  8 AM Monday June 29.
* At 13.0 feet...South Mill Street lumber company built wall to
  prevent flooding after December 1990 flood.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.0 feet which occurred
  on Jan 13 2005.

  The Blanchard River at Ottawa
* until late Wednesday night.
* At 4 AM Sunday the stage was 24.3 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 27.5 feet around  8
  AM Monday June 29 and fall below flood stage around  4 AM Wednesday
  July  1.
* At 27.0 feet...Flooding worsens on the south side of Ottawa, with
  water on several roads. Flooding also begins in other areas of
  Ottawa.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 27.3 feet which occurred
  on Apr 13 2013.

* until late Thursday night.
* At 4 AM Sunday the stage was 21.5 feet and rising.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 22.7 feet around  8
  AM Monday June 29 and fall below flood stage around  2 AM Thursday
  July  2.
* At 23.0 feet...Approaching major flood.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 22.9 feet which occurred
  on Feb 8 2008.

* until Wednesday morning.
* At 3 AM Sunday the stage was 14.6 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 15.5 feet around  2
  PM Sunday June 28 and fall below flood stage around 10 AM Tuesday
  June 30.
* At 15.3 feet...Mobile home park in Kingsbury Court floods and water
  is at the rear of houses along the 700 block of North Riverside
  Avenue and West River Drive.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.0 feet which occurred
  on Jan 25 1999.

  The Maumee River at Napoleon
* until Wednesday afternoon.
* At 12 PM Saturday the stage was 6.8 feet and rising.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage last night and
  crest near 16.9 feet around  8 AM Sunday June 28 and fall below
  flood stage around  5 PM Tuesday June 30.
* At 17.0 feet...Massive flooding will occur. Residents living along
  the Maumee and its tributaries should prepare for extensive flood
  losses.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 16.7 feet which occurred
  on Mar 11 2009.

 The Flood Warning has been extended for
  The Saint Joseph River Ohio below Montpelier
* from late tonight until further notice.
* At 7 AM Saturday the stage was 5.7 feet and steady.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage early Monday
  morning  and crest near 12.6 feet around  2 PM Tuesday June 30.
  Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* At 13.0 feet...County Road K, one mile southwest of Montpelier
  begins to flood. Some flooding begins to affect the village of
  Pioneer. Significant low land and agricultural flooding occurs near
  the river.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.7 feet which occurred
  on Dec 17 2011.

  The Saint Joseph River Ohio above Newville
* until further notice.
* At 4 AM Sunday the stage was 13.6 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 14.9 feet around  2
  PM Monday June 29 and begin falling.
* At 14.0 feet...Significant flooding occurs on DeKalb County Road 42
  about 3 miles northeast of Newville. Considerable agricultural and
  low land flooding occurs along the St. Joseph River to the
  Cedarville Reservoir.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.2 feet which occurred
  on Apr 22 2013.

* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 14.9 feet around  2
  AM Monday June 29 and fall below flood stage around  3 AM Wednesday
  July  1.
* At 15.0 feet...Flooding of lowland and farmland near the river
  increases.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.5 feet which occurred
  on May 27 2011.

* At 4 AM Sunday the stage was 21.1 feet and rising.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 21.5 feet around  8
  AM Sunday June 28 and fall below flood stage around 10 PM Wednesday
  July  1.
* At 21.5 feet...High water affects US 224...Piqua Rd...Ohio State
  Route 49 near the state line along with east side Decatur streets.
  Residential flooding begins on East Jackson and Ogg Streets.
  Bellmont High School grounds begin flooding.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 21.0 feet which occurred
  on Apr 29 2011.

* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 15.9 feet around  2
  PM Sunday June 28 and fall below flood stage around 11 AM Monday
  June 29.
* At 15.0 feet...Flooding occurs on the lowest unprotected city
  streets, park drives and county roads.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 16.3 feet which occurred
  on Mar 3 2011.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 13.0 feet around  8
  AM Monday June 29 and fall below flood stage around  5 PM Tuesday
  June 30.
* At 14.0 feet...Secondary roads are blocked. Roads near the east
  side of Geneva begin to flood. Some evacuations may be required and
  property needs to be transfered to higher ground.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.1 feet which occurred
  on Jan 14 2013.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 15.2 feet around  8
  AM Sunday June 28 and fall below flood stage around  6 AM Monday
  June 29.
* At 16.0 feet...Moderate flooding begins along the Auglaize River
  with secondary roads and agricultural lands as well as homes
  nearest the river being affected by flood waters. Some evacuations
  of people and property may be necessary.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.3 feet which occurred
  on Apr 12 2013.

* from this morning to late Monday night.
* At 4 AM Sunday the stage was 19.8 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Sunday morning and
  crest near 21.6 feet around  8 PM Sunday June 28 and fall below
  flood stage around  3 AM Monday June 29.
* At 21.0 feet...Water gets into backyards of homes on Riverside
  Avenue. Riverside Park in Defiance begins to flood. Flood water
  approaches State Route 111 upstream of hydro dam.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 21.6 feet which occurred
  on Dec 24 2013.
