FLOOD STATEMENT

  Wabash River near Bluffton affecting Huntington and Wells Counties
  Maumee River AT Ft. Wayne affecting Allen and Paulding Counties
  Maumee River near Defiance affecting Defiance and Henry Counties
  Maumee River at Napoleon affecting Henry County
  Saint Joseph River Ohio below Montpelier affecting Williams County
  Saint Marys River near Decatur affecting Adams...Allen and Van Wert
  Counties
  Saint Marys River at Muldoon Bridge affecting Allen County

...The flood warning continues for the following rivers...

  Wabash River at Wabash affecting Cass...Miami and Wabash Counties
  Saint Joseph River Ohio above Newville affecting Allen...De Kalb
  and Defiance Counties
  Tiffin River near Stryker affecting Defiance...Fulton and Williams
  Counties

.Recent heavy rainfall has caused minor to major flooding along area
rivers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...Never drive vehicles through flooded areas. the
water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to
play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio or
local media for further statements and updated forecasts.

All times are in Eastern Time. This statement will be updated in
about 24 hours or sooner if necessary.

  The Tiffin River near Stryker
* until further notice.
* At 11 AM Tuesday the stage was 16.7 feet and falling.
* Major flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will remain near 16.6 feet for the next 12
  hours.
* At 16.5 feet...Major flooding will occur in and around the village
  of Stryker.

* At 11 AM Tuesday the stage was 19.5 feet and falling.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will fall below the 17.0 foot flood stage
  around  8 AM Wednesday July  1.
* At 20.0 feet...Some evacuations may be necessary in low,
  unprotected areas of River Haven.

* until late Thursday night.
* At 7 AM Tuesday the stage was 16.6 feet and falling.
* Moderate flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will fall below the 10.0 foot flood stage
  around  1 AM Thursday July  2.
* At 16.5 feet...The Kingsbury Park area is closed due to flooding.
  Many roads are closed due to high water.

* until late Wednesday night.
* At 6 AM Tuesday the stage was 15.1 feet and falling
* Moderate flooding is occurring
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will fall below the 12.0 foot flood stage
  around 12 AM Wednesday July  1.
* At 15.0 feet...Flood water will threaten some buildings in the east
  end of Napoleon and cause several roads to become impassible.

  The Saint Joseph River Ohio below Montpelier
* until Saturday afternoon.
* At 3 PM Monday the stage was 13.8 feet and rising.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will fall below the 12.0 foot flood stage
  around 12 PM Friday July  3.
* At 14.0 feet...County Road K, one mile southwest of Montpelier is
  flooded. Flood waters affect the southeast side of Pioneer and
  cover large areas of low land and agricultural land near the river.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Saint Joseph River Ohio above Newville
* until further notice.
* At 11 AM Tuesday the stage was 14.5 feet and rising.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to a crest near 14.6 feet around  2
  PM Tuesday June 30 and begin falling.
* At 14.0 feet...Significant flooding occurs on DeKalb County Road 42
  about 3 miles northeast of Newville. Considerable agricultural and
  low land flooding occurs along the St. Joseph River to the
  Cedarville Reservoir.

* At 12.0 feet...The flooding of county roads begin.

* At 13.0 feet...Access road to Bluffton wastewater treatment plant
  is flooded.

  and Lagro begin to flood.

  around  1 AM Thursday July  2.
* At 20.0 feet...Water begins to cross state highway 49 just north of
  Wilshire, Ohio.

* Forecast...The river will fall below the 14.0 foot flood stage
  around 11 PM Tuesday June 30.
* At 15.0 feet...Flooding occurs on the lowest unprotected city
  streets, park drives and county roads.
