NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORTHERN INDIANA

...flooding severity forecast to increase from Minor to Moderate for
the following rivers in Indiana

  Saint Marys River at Muldoon Bridge affecting Allen County


.Low pressure system moving through has caused large amounts of rain
to fall over the past 24 hours which has caused the river to rise.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...Never drive vehicles through flooded areas. the
water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to
play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio or
local media for further statements and updated forecasts.

...Forecast flooding increased from Minor to Moderate severity...
The Flood Warning continues for
 The Saint Marys River at Muldoon Bridge
* until late Monday night.
* At 12 PM Saturday the stage was 14.1 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to crest near 18.0 feet around 2 AM
  Sunday June 28 and fall below flood stage around 2 AM Monday June
  29.
* At 18.0 feet...An increasing number of city streets flood, and more
  evacuations become necessary. Property damage approaches severe
  category in some areas at this level.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 17.7 feet which occurred
  on Feb 9 2008.
