...GALE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING THROUGH
SUNDAY EVENING...

.TONIGHT...South wind increasing to between 15 and 25 knots
veering southwest to 30 knots after midnight. Gusts up to 35 knot
gales increasing to 40 knot gales after midnight. Showers and a
chance of thunderstorms. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 4 to 7 feet
occasionally to 9 feet.
.SUNDAY...West gales to 35 knots veering northwest to 30 knots in
the afternoon. Gusts up to 40 knot gales. Chance of showers in
the morning, then slight chance of showers in the afternoon.
Waves 8 to 12 feet occasionally to 15 feet.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Northwest wind 15 to 25 knots. Partly cloudy
through midnight then clearing. Waves 6 to 10 feet occasionally
to 13 feet.
.MONDAY...West wind 5 to 10 knots. Mostly sunny. Waves 3 to
5 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet in the afternoon.

The water temperature off Michigan City is 54 degrees...and 50
degrees off St. Joseph.
