DIFFICULTIES...

THE SOUTH BEND NOAA WEATHER RADIO TRANSMITTER WXJ-57 AT FREQUENCY
162.400 MHZ IS EXPERIENCING TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES AND IS OUT OF
SERVICE. A LOUD HUM OR RINGING SOUND CAN BE HEARD OVER THE AIR.
TECHNICIANS ARE CURRENTLY WORKING TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM...HOWEVER
AT THIS TIME THERE IS NO ESTIMATION OF SERVICE RESTORATION TIME. IN
THE MEANTIME...ALTERNATE NOAA WEATHER RADIO STATIONS THAT CAN BE
MONITORED INCLUDE WNG-689 HEBRON AT 162.450MHZ...KZZ-36 NORTH
WEBSTER AT 162.500 MHZ...AND KJY-62 LAPORTE AT 162.500 MHZ.
