...A BAND OF MODERATE TO LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW WILL AFFECT WESTERN ST.
JOSEPH...STARKE... WESTERN MARSHALL...LA PORTE AND SOUTHWESTERN
BERRIEN COUNTIES...

At 201 PM EST/101 PM CST/, several bands of moderate to locally
heavy snow showers were impacting southwestern portions of Berrien
county into LaPorte, northeastern Starke and northwest Marshall
counties, moving southeast at 15 mph. Near whiteout conditions may
be seen at times with the heavier snowshowers with rapidly changing
visibilities.

Locations impacted include...
Michigan City, La Porte, Plymouth, Knox, Trail Creek, Bridgman,
Walkerton, North Liberty, New Buffalo, New Carlisle, Argos, Three
Oaks, Kingsford Heights, Culver, Long Beach, Hamlet, Pottawattamie
Park, Shorewood-Tower Hill, Shorewood-Tower Hills-Harbert and Koontz
Lake.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Indiana between mile markers 42 and 64.
 Interstate 94 in Indiana between mile markers 37 and 45.
 Interstate 94 in Michigan between mile markers 0 and 17.

Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this dangerous
snow squall. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads
are likely to lead to accidents. Consider delaying travel until the
squall passes your location.
