THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORTHERN INDIANA HAS ISSUED A
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR LAKE EFFECT SNOW AND BLOWING
SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EST FRIDAY. THE WINTER STORM
WARNING HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * ACCUMULATIONS: LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS MAY BRING ADDITIONAL
   LOCALIZED ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES THROUGH LATE TONIGHT.

 * TIMING: LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WILL PERSIST INTO THIS EVENING
   AND SLOWLY WEAKEN OVERNIGHT.

 * WEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH THROUGH EARLY THIS EVENING WILL
   CAUSE AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND REDUCED
   VISIBILITIES...MAKING TRAVEL DIFFICULT AT TIMES.

IMPACTS...

 * ROADS WILL BE SNOW COVERED...SLICK AND HAZARDOUS CREATING
   DANGEROUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.

 * THE COMBINATION OF THE HEAVIER LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS AND
   STRONG WINDS WILL CREATE SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED VISIBILITIES
   AT TIMES AND DANGEROUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.

 * COLD TEMPERATURES ARE ALSO EXPECTED WITH WIND CHILLS BETWEEN
   ZERO AND 10 ABOVE ZERO.
