FROM 3 AM THURSDAY TO 2 PM EST FRIDAY.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WITH DRIFTING SNOW AT TIMES.

 * SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES BY LATE FRIDAY.

IMPACTS...

 * SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY ROADS ARE EXPECTED ESPECIALLY FROM
   THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY.

 * REDUCED VISIBILITY CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE HEAVIER SNOW SHOWERS.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR LAKE EFFECT SNOW AND DRIFTING SNOW
MEANS THAT VISIBILITIES WILL BE LIMITED DUE TO A COMBINATION OF

 * LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WITH BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

 * SNOW ACCUMULATIONS GENERALLY 5 TO 8 INCHES BY LATE FRIDAY.

IMPACTS...

 * BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WILL CAUSE HAZARDOUS DRIVING
   CONDITIONS ON SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY ROADS ESPECIALLY FROM
   THURSDAY AFTERNOON INTO FRIDAY MORNING.

 * THE THURSDAY EVENING AND FRIDAY MORNING COMMUTES MAY BE
   DIFFICULT.
