...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO 4 AM EST FRIDAY...

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * ACCUMULATIONS: LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS MAY BRING 5 TO 8
   INCHES OF SNOW FROM LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT
   WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. MOST OF THE SNOW
   ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED FROM TONIGHT THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY
   EVENING. SNOWFALL RATES OF AN INCH PER HOUR OR GREATER CAN BE
   EXPECTED WITH THE HEAVIER LAKE EFFECT SNOW BANDS.

 * TIMING: LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WILL REDEVELOP LATE THIS
   AFTERNOON AND PERSIST THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING BEFORE
   DIMINISHING THURSDAY NIGHT.

 * WEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH SOME GUSTS TO 30 MPH TONIGHT
   THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON BEFORE DIMINISHING THURSDAY NIGHT.
   BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW ALONG WITH PERIODS OF SIGNIFICANTLY
   REDUCED VISIBILITIES ARE EXPECTED FROM LATE THIS AFTERNOON
   THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING.

IMPACTS...

 * ROADS WILL BE SNOW COVERED...SLICK AND HAZARDOUS CREATING
   DANGEROUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS. THIS WILL INCLUDE US HIGHWAYS 31
   AND 33 AND POSSIBLY PORTIONS OF INTERSTATE 94.

 * THE COMBINATION OF HEAVY SNOWFALL AND STRONG WINDS MAY CREATE
   NEAR WHITEOUT CONDITIONS AT TIMES.

 * VERY COLD TEMPERATURES ARE ALSO EXPECTED WITH WIND CHILLS
   BETWEEN ZERO AND 10 ABOVE ZERO.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING.  SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF
SNOW ARE FORECAST THAT WILL MAKE TRAVEL DANGEROUS. ONLY TRAVEL IN
AN EMERGENCY. IF YOU MUST TRAVEL...KEEP AN EXTRA FLASHLIGHT...
FOOD...AND WATER IN YOUR VEHICLE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * ACCUMULATIONS: LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS COULD BRING 2 TO 5
   INCHES OF SNOW FROM LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT
   WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. MOST OF THE SNOW
   ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED FROM TONIGHT THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY
   EVENING. THE HIGHER SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED ALONG AND
   NORTH OF THE INDIANA TOLL ROAD.

 * TIMING: LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WILL DEVELOP LATE THIS
   AFTERNOON AND INTENSIFY TONIGHT INTO THURSDAY. THE LOCATION
   OF THE BANDS WILL VARY BUT SHOULD REMAIN ALONG AND NORTH OF
   THE INDIANA TOLL ROAD. THE SNOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO
   DIMINISH THURSDAY NIGHT.

 * WEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH TONIGHT THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY
   EVENING WILL CAUSE AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND
   REDUCED VISIBILITIES...MAKING TRAVEL DIFFICULT AT TIMES.

   DANGEROUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS. THIS MAY INCLUDE PORTIONS OF THE
   INDIANA TOLL ROAD...ESPECIALLY EAST OF MILE MARKER 45 AS WELL
   AS PORTIONS OF U.S. HIGHWAY 31...33...20 AND THE 20 BYPASS.

 * THE COMBINATION OF HEAVIER LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS AND
   STRONG WINDS WILL CREATE SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED VISIBILITIES
   AT TIMES AND DANGEROUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.

 * ACCUMULATIONS: LIGHT SNOW WILL PERSIST INTO EARLY AFTERNOON
   WITH AROUND AN INCH OF SNOW POSSIBLE. LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS
   COULD BRING 3 TO 6 INCHES OF SNOW FROM LATE THIS AFTERNOON
   THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.
   MOST OF THE SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED FROM TONIGHT THROUGH
   EARLY THURSDAY EVENING. THE GREATEST ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED
   WEST OF INTERSTATE 69.

 * TIMING: LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WILL DEVELOP LATE THIS
   AFTERNOON AND INTENSIFY TONIGHT INTO THURSDAY. THE SNOW
   SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO DIMINISH THURSDAY NIGHT.

 * WEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH TONIGHT THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY
   EVENING WILL CAUSE AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND
   REDUCED VISIBILITIES...MAKING TRAVEL DIFFICULT AT TIMES.
