THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORTHERN INDIANA HAS ISSUED A
WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW AND BLOWING AND
DRIFTING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 7
PM EST TUESDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * ACCUMULATIONS: 6 TO 10 INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED WITH LOCAL
   AMOUNTS OF 12 TO 15 INCHES POSSIBLE. SNOWFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2
   INCHES PER HOUR MAY OCCUR AS WELL.

 * TIMING: LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL DEVELOP TODAY AND BECOME HEAVY AT
   TIMES LATER THIS AFTERNOON...TONIGHT AND TUESDAY.

 * WEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 30 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED
   WITH THE HEAVY SNOW. THIS WILL CAUSE BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF
   SNOW ON ROADS...MAKING TRAVEL DIFFICULT OR IMPOSSIBLE.

 * ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED...SLICK AND HAZARDOUS CREATING
   DANGEROUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS THROUGH TUESDAY.

 * THE COMBINATION OF HEAVY SNOWFALL AND STRONG WINDS MAY CREATE
   NEAR WHITEOUT CONDITIONS AT TIMES.

 * VERY COLD TEMPERATURES ARE ALSO EXPECTED WITH WIND CHILLS
   DROPPING TO NEAR ZERO TONIGHT.

   OTTAWA OHIO. ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS MAY RANGE FROM JUST A
   DUSTING WEST OF THIS LINE TO AS MUCH AS 1 TO 2 INCHES CLOSER TO
   VAN WERT AND LIMA OHIO.

 * ROADS REMAIN SNOW COVERED...SLICK AND HAZARDOUS THIS MORNING.
   ALLOW EXTRA TIME FOR TRAVEL AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.

 * BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES WILL BE ICY AND HAZARDOUS.
