AFTERNOON...

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

 * MORE CONCENTRATED LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WILL IMPACT PORTIONS
   OF THE WARNING AREA INTO THIS MORNING WITH THE HEAVIEST SNOW TO
   OCCUR BETWEEN 4 AM EST AND 11 AM EST. DRIFTING SNOW WILL CAUSE
   SLIPPERY ROADS WITH BRIEF INSTANCES OF BLOWING SNOW POSSIBLE.

 * SNOW ACCUMULATIONS MAY VARY GREATLY FROM LOCATION TO LOCATION
   DEPENDING ON THE DURATION ANY LAKE EFFECT BAND REMAINS IN
   PLACE. ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE EXPECTED
   WHERE THE BANDS REMAIN THE LONGEST WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS
   POSSIBLE.

 * WIND CHILLS 10 ABOVE TO 15 ABOVE ZERO.

IMPACTS...

 * BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WILL CAUSE HAZARDOUS DRIVING
   CONDITIONS ON SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY ROADS ESPECIALLY FROM
   LATE THIS EVENING THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING.

 * SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED VISIBILITIES ARE EXPECTED IN THE
   HEAVIER SNOW SHOWERS.

 * THE FRIDAY MORNING COMMUTE WILL LIKELY BE ADVERSELY AFFECTED
   BY LAKE EFFECT SNOW.

DRIFTING SNOW MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED

 * ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE
   THROUGH THE MORNING.

 * WIND CHILLS 10 ABOVE TO 15 ABOVE ZERO.
