For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure at 30.00 inches builds across the region
tonight through early Tuesday before a clipper, 29.50 inches,
moves in daytime Tuesday. Clipper draws an arctic airmass south
as it strengthens over the Northeast offering a window for
potential gales over northern Lake Huron Wednesday.

EVENING...

.TONIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming west 10 to
15 knots after midnight. Snow showers likely after midnight.
Waves 4 to 6 feet.
.TUESDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to
20 knots late in the morning...then decreasing to 10 to 15 knots
in the afternoon. Snow showers likely in the morning...then a
chance of snow showers in the afternoon. Waves 3 to 5 feet. Waves
occasionally around 8 feet.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 20 to
25 knots with gusts to around 30 knots. Waves 3 to 5 feet
building to 6 to 9 feet in the late evening and overnight. Waves
occasionally around 12 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots increasing to
30 knots early in the afternoon. Gusts to 35 knot gales. Waves
10 to 14 feet. Waves occasionally around 18 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 knots with gusts to
35 knot gales decreasing to 20 to 25 knots with gusts to around
30 knots in the late evening and overnight. Freezing spray. Waves
10 to 14 feet. Waves occasionally around 18 feet.
.THURSDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 10 to
15 knots late in the morning...then becoming west 5 to 10 knots
late in the afternoon. Freezing spray in the morning. Waves 6 to
9 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet. Waves occasionally around
12 feet.
.FRIDAY...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 10 to
15 knots. A chance of snow showers. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to
20 knots until early evening...then decreasing to 10 to 15 knots
in the late evening and early morning. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
