For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure, 30.80 inches, will build through the area
today and center on the New England states tonight. Low pressure of
30.00 inches will then track through the northern Great Lakes Friday
before another high pressure, 30.30 inches, builds back in from the
west on Saturday. Yet another low pressure will lift northeast into
the Great Lakes on Sunday.

.TODAY...Light and variable winds becoming east 5 to 10 knots in
the late morning and afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TONIGHT...East winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15 knots
after midnight. A chance of snow showers early in the morning.
Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 3 to 5 feet after midnight.
.FRIDAY...Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 10 to
15 knots in the late morning and early afternoon...then becoming
south 5 to 10 knots early in the afternoon. Freezing rain and
snow showers in the morning. A chance of showers. A chance of
freezing rain in the afternoon. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots. A chance of showers
early in the evening. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet
after midnight.
.SATURDAY...Light and variable winds becoming east 10 to 15 knots
late in the afternoon...then increasing to 20 to 25 knots with
gusts to 35 knot gales late in the evening. A chance of snow
showers late in the afternoon. Snow showers late in the evening.
Showers and a chance of freezing rain after midnight. Waves
2 feet or less building to 2 to 4 feet late in the evening.
.SUNDAY...Southeast winds 20 to 25 knots veering to the south in
the late morning and early afternoon...then veering to the west
early in the evening decreasing to 15 to 20 knots in the late
evening and early morning. Gusts to 35 knot gales. A chance of
freezing rain early in the morning. Showers and a chance of snow
showers early in the morning. Waves 6 to 9 feet. Waves
occasionally around 12 feet.
.MONDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 5 to 10 knots.
A chance of snow showers until early morning. Waves 3 to 5 feet
subsiding to 1 to 3 feet until early morning.

20 knots early in the morning. A chance of snow showers early in

15 knots in the late morning and afternoon. A chance of freezing

12 feet.
