For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure...30.40 inches...will steadily build into
the Central Great Lakes today. This high will remain over the region
tonight, before pulling to the east on Tuesday. Low pressure...29.70
inches...will then track across southern Ontario, sending a cold
front across lower Michigan on Wednesday.

.TODAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TONIGHT...Light and variable winds becoming southwest 5 to
10 knots after midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TUESDAY...South winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15 knots
early in the afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less building to 2 to
4 feet early in the afternoon.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...South winds 15 to 20 knots increasing to 20 to
25 knots with gusts to 30 knots in the late evening and
overnight. A chance of showers in the evening. Showers after
midnight. Waves 5 to 7 feet building to 6 to 9 feet after
midnight. Waves occasionally around 12 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...South winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 knots
becoming southwest 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots late in
the morning...then veering to the west with gusts to 30 knots
late in the evening. Showers until late afternoon...then a chance
of showers early in the afternoon. Waves 6 to 9 feet. Waves
occasionally around 12 feet.
.THURSDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots
becoming northwest 15 to 20 knots early in the evening...then
veering to the northeast in the late evening and early morning.
Waves 8 to 12 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet. Waves occasionally
around 15 feet.
.FRIDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots becoming south to
30 knots with gusts to 35 knot gales. A chance of snow showers in
the morning. A chance of showers...then showers until early
morning. Waves 2 to 4 feet building to 12 to 16 feet. Waves
occasionally around 20 feet.
