For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure, 30.30 inches, departs to the east
overnight. A low pressure system tracks from the central Plains
to just south of the Great Lakes Friday night with another shot
of arctic air moving in Saturday. A ridge of high pressure
follows on Sunday.

.REST OF TONIGHT...North winds 5 to 10 knots this evening
becoming light and variable...then becoming north 5 to 10 knots
early in the morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
.FRIDAY...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 15 to
20 knots. Snow showers. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 3 to 5 feet
in the afternoon.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to
10 knots in the late evening and early morning...then backing to
the southeast 5 to 10 knots after midnight. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.SATURDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming north 15 to
20 knots in the late morning and afternoon. Waves 4 to 6 feet.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...North winds 10 to 15 knots decreasing to 5 to
10 knots after midnight. Waves 4 to 6 feet subsiding to 2 to
4 feet after midnight. Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.SUNDAY...North winds 5 to 10 knots becoming east 10 to 15 knots
late in the morning...then increasing to 15 to 20 knots late in
the evening. A chance of snow showers late in the evening. Waves
1 to 3 feet building to 4 to 6 feet late in the afternoon. Waves
occasionally around 8 feet.
.MONDAY...East winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southeast 20 to
25 knots until early morning. Gusts to 35 knot gales. A chance of
snow showers...then a chance of showers in the late evening and
early morning. Waves 6 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally around
12 feet.
.TUESDAY...Southeast winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 knot
gales becoming south 10 to 15 knots. A chance of showers early in
the morning...then showers in the late morning and early
afternoon. A chance of showers until early morning. Waves 6 to
9 feet. Waves occasionally around 12 feet.
