For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure averaging 30.10 inches will get
pushed eastward today by an approaching frontal boundary which will
settle across the central Great Lakes this afternoon. A low pressure
system organizing over the Central Plains on Friday will then lift
northeast along the frontal boundary this weekend while deepening to
around 29.40 inches by the time it reaches the straits Sunday
morning.

showers late in the afternoon. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.TONIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northwest 5 to
10 knots early in the morning. A chance of showers until early
morning. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY...North winds 5 to 10 knots becoming east 10 to
15 knots early in the afternoon. A chance of showers in the
afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Showers. Waves
4 to 6 feet. Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.SUNDAY...South winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 35 knot gales
becoming west to 30 knots with gusts to 45 knot gales late in the
morning...then becoming northwest 20 to 25 knots with gusts to
45 knot gales late in the afternoon decreasing to 10 to 15 knots
late in the evening. Showers until late afternoon...then a chance
of showers early in the afternoon. Waves 5 to 7 feet building to
8 to 12 feet late in the morning...then subsiding to 5 to 7 feet
late in the evening. Waves occasionally around 15 feet.
.MONDAY...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots backing to the west until
early evening...then becoming southwest 10 to 15 knots in the
late evening and early morning. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to
2 to 4 feet in the late evening and early morning.
.TUESDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 10 to 15 knots
in the late evening and early morning. Waves 3 to 5 feet.

15 knots late in the afternoon. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.TONIGHT...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west 5 to
10 knots early in the morning. A chance of showers in the late
evening and overnight. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet
after midnight.
.SATURDAY...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming northeast
10 to 15 knots in the late morning and afternoon. A chance of
showers in the morning. Rain showers in the afternoon. Waves 1 to
3 feet.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...East winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to
30 knots becoming south 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 35 knot
gales after midnight. Showers. Waves 4 to 6 feet building to 6 to

evening. Gusts to 45 knot gales decreasing to 35 knot gales late
in the evening. Showers early in the morning. A chance of showers
early in the morning. Waves 10 to 14 feet. Waves occasionally
around 18 feet.
.MONDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west 5 to
10 knots in the late morning and early afternoon...then backing
to the southwest early in the evening increasing to 10 to
15 knots in the late evening and early morning. Waves 5 to 7 feet
subsiding to 3 to 5 feet in the late morning and early
afternoon...then subsiding to 1 to 3 feet early in the evening
building to 3 to 5 feet in the late evening and early morning.
Waves occasionally around 10 feet.
