For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure averaging 29.40 inches will move northeast
along a
frontal boundary settled across central Lake Huron tonight and into
Sunday. The low pressure and frontal boundary will move east of the
region Sunday with high pressure averaging 30.20 inches building
across the region heading into Monday.

...GALE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH LATE SUNDAY
NIGHT...

.TODAY...North winds 5 to 10 knots veering to the east late in
the afternoon. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the
afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TONIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 20 to 25 knots
late in the evening...then decreasing to 15 to 20 knots after
midnight decreasing to 10 to 15 knots early in the morning.
Showers and a chance of thunderstorms. Waves 2 to 4 feet building
to 5 to 7 feet in the late evening and overnight. Waves
occasionally around 10 feet.
.SUNDAY...Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots backing to the north
with gusts to 35 knot gales in the late morning and early
afternoon...then becoming northwest at 35 knot gales with gusts
to 40 knot gales early in the afternoon. Showers and a chance of
thunderstorms until late afternoon...then a chance of showers
late in the afternoon. Waves 5 to 7 feet building to 10 to
14 feet early in the afternoon. Waves occasionally around
18 feet. A gale warning may be needed.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to
40 knot gales decreasing to 10 to 15 knots. A chance of showers
early in the evening. Waves 10 to 14 feet subsiding to 3 to
5 feet. Waves occasionally around 18 feet.
.MONDAY...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming west 10 to
15 knots late in the afternoon...then becoming southwest 15 to
20 knots late in the evening. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 3 to
5 feet late in the evening.
.TUESDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots
becoming west 5 to 10 knots. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 2 to
4 feet in the late evening and early morning.
.WEDNESDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to
20 knots in the late evening and early morning. Waves 1 to 3 feet

midnight. Waves occasionally around 12 feet.

becoming southwest to 30 knots with gusts to 40 knot gales in the
late morning and early afternoon...then becoming northwest at
35 knot gales with gusts to 45 knot gales early in the afternoon.

a chance of showers late in the afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall
possible early in the morning. Waves 8 to 12 feet building to
12 to 16 feet early in the afternoon. Waves occasionally around
20 feet. A gale warning may be needed.

gales decreasing to 15 to 20 knots. A chance of showers early in
the evening. Waves 12 to 16 feet subsiding to 8 to 12 feet after
midnight. Waves occasionally around 20 feet.
.MONDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west 5 to
10 knots late in the morning...then backing to the southwest late
in the afternoon increasing to 15 to 20 knots late in the
evening. Waves 4 to 6 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet late in the
afternoon...then building to 4 to 6 feet late in the evening.
Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.TUESDAY...Southwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 knots
becoming west 10 to 15 knots. Waves 4 to 6 feet.
